Hi Helen — enjoyed your article and that many entrepreneurs harbour altruistic motives, but couldn’t help feeling sad for one group of people who often find themselves discarded by the corporate world for a strange reason; they have had a near death experience (NDE) and the trivialities of making money, keeping to strict timetables etc no longer seem as important to them after experiencing the afterlife and wonderful new venues. Perhaps unwisely, they often take too much time enjoying the beauty of simple things, even while working! Altruistic motives and an emphasis on loving and helping others also invade their thinking and sadly they cannot fit in professsionally as they had done before.
